I was born in Alma, MI on June 28, 1982. My parents, Mike and Linda Chrzanowski, raised my brother Joe and I in Shepherd,
Michigan. I attended Shepherd Public Schools from kindergarten until my graduation from high school in 2000. Throughout
my early childhood I began a fascination with animals, which led me to acquire many pets. This infatuation also led me to
join a local 4-H group to further develop my interests. These experiences ignited my interest in the field of veterinary medicine.
Therefore, after high school, I attended Central Michigan University where I completed my undergraduate requirements for veterinary
school. While at CMU I was also very fortunate to meet my fiancé David. We are currently planning a wedding for May 25,
2008.
After completion of my undergraduate requirements at CMU, I was very fortunate to get accepted into Michigan State University’s
College of Veterinary Medicine. I am currently in my fourth and final year of the program and will graduate in May of 2008.
After veterinary school, I would like to complete an internship in small animal medicine. An internship will allow me to
further develop my clinical skills while deciding if I would like to go into private practice or continue my education by
seeking a residency in a specialty area. My current areas of interest are ophthalmology and animal behavior.
My Hobbies
My hobbies and interests include showing dogs, reading, studying and hanging out with family and friends.
